Beami's Bops With Mr Noey Reach New High In Heavy-Hitting Banger "The Rising Sun"

From wilin' in the jungle, to pleading to the heavens, to shining brighter than the Sun itself - Beami & Mr Noey continue to catapult higher (and rock harder) with their latest track

Two dudes who like to jam have come together for their third single, their first of 2025. After the carefree fun of "Tarzan" led to the depths of "Good God", both releasing this past August, the wait for more is over.

On the first Sunday of February Beami & Mr Noey return with "The Rising Sun", a fresh cover of an old classic made famous by The Animals in 1964 as "House Of The Rising Sun". Taking a heavier, more modern approach that builds in intensity as the song progresses, the duo guarantees that their 6 month silence will be long forgotten in the span of about 5 minutes.

Recorded in late October when Beami popped back into Austin for a life-changing couple of days, the singer says the idea had been ruminating for a while.

"This song has become incredibly personal for me over the last few years and after it was the first cover I learned on ukulele, I had been wanting to take a bigger approach to it and finally lay down a recording - when the time was right", Beami shared.

"I felt like Noey was going to be the one to help me bring it to life and I pitched it to him and he didn't take much convincing", he laughs.

"We have a sickness", Mr Noey admits. "And the only cure is more jams."

Opening with a ground-quaking bass line that is quickly supported by a barrage of soul-wrenching guitar, heavenly strings, and Beami's eclectic vocals, it becomes clear from the jump that we're no longer in the '60s. Joined by blistering keys towards the end of the song that pay homage to Alan Price's organ of yesteryear, the new banger concludes with Beami's acapella wails as the kick drum transitions into a beating heart.

"The Rising Sun" is available on all platforms 2.2.2025. Listen here.
