Austin Artist Beami Teams With Top-Notch Producer Mr Noey For Sizzling Summer Smash “Tarzan”
The undeniable hit that formed as a result of 2 dudes hanging at the dog park is set to be the summer’s biggest bop
Austin-born writer & musician Beami, fresh off the heels of July’s low-key, soulful single “Coming Home”, returns with a powerhouse banger in collaboration with ATX producer Mr Noey. Stemming from splashing in the creek and sprinting with the pups at the local dog park, “Tarzan” brings forth the funky grooves and wild nature you've been waiting all summer to let loose.
Featuring booming tuba, upbeat bongos and catchy vocals, “Tarzan” takes you back to the simpler aspects of life. By the end of the track, you may just find yourself shirtless in the jungle with dirt smeared over your face while chugging coconuts and breathing fire. With a smattering barrage of lyrical flow, Beami expresses his thoughts on rising from the ashes, connecting with his true nature and elevating from a relatively unknown status.
“Falling down to stumble up, man, I’m really reachin’
You ain't know my name it's cool but I'm forever beamin’
Steamin', freedom, teamin’ with new meetin’s”
After a recent performance for the live program Local Sets ATX, Beami felt inspired to find his way back into the studio. The friendship built with Mr Noey, and the boundless energy of their respective dogs, culminated in the right-place, right-time lightning strike of creativity that led to “Tarzan”.
“We knocked this out in under 24 hours” shares producer Mr Noey. The track carries quite a dominating force. “It's all testosterone”, he laughs.
With experience in all different styles and genres, Mr Noey is a musician and producer from Chicago living in Austin, TX with over 30 years spent in the music world. He has performed live on many stages in the Chicagoland and Midwestern and Eastern regions.
Set to perform at the Kennedy Center’s Local Theatre Festival next month before relocating to Philadelphia to work on projects in the Northeast, Beami is humbled by the chance to go out with a bang in his hometown.
“We're gonna put Viagra out of business with this track”, echoes Beami with his trademark grin and dry delivery, leaving it just unclear enough as to whether he is joking or not.
What remains evident is that “Tarzan” brings the jungle straight to your speakers - and you are encouraged to embrace your inner animal.
“This one's for Harambe, Koko, Kong, Kerchak, Mighty Joe, Caesar and the rest of the homies”, Beami relays with his fist over his heart.
